Situated at the foot of the Dewetsberg mountain in the ruggedly beautiful Scherpenheuvel region, we have been producing a wide range of quality wines since the early 1990s. Part of the Worcester wine route, Cilmor is a comfortable and scenic day trip from Cape Town.

Our winemaking philosophy is to combine our expertise with state-of-the-art machinery to produce modern wines which showcase the cultivar expression of our unique region.

Product Features

Chardonnay 2025

• Aroma: Floral with hints of litchi and orange blossom
• Palate: Tangy and lively on the citrus peel, with marmalade and lemon zest on the aftertaste; lengthy, tart finish
• Pairs well with goat cheese tart, seared scallops with citrus glaze, grilled prawns with lemon butter, citrus-accented Asian dishes
• Alcohol by Volume: 13.17%

 Sauvignon Blanc 2025

• Aroma: Gooseberry and litchi, fruit-forward
• Palate: Vibrant green apple and lime, with quince and fruit salad on the tangy finish
• Pairs well with fresh garden salad, citrus-marinated chicken, seafood ceviche, light pasta with lemon dressing
• Alcohol by Volume: 13.13%

Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2025

• Aroma: Tea leaf, tomato leaf, and red berries
• Palate: Grippy and tart, with a slight hint of cranberry
• Pairs well with roast lamb, grilled portobello mushrooms, aged cheddar, or tomato-based pasta dishes
• Varietals: 70% Merlot / 30% Cabernet Sauvignon
• Alcohol by Volume: 14.7%

Pinot Noir 2025

• Aroma: Tea leaf and red berry fruit
• Palate: Pithy and dry with leathery texture, spicy and earthy notes on the aftertaste
• Pairs well with mushroom risotto, or aged gouda
• Alcohol by Volume: 12.78%
