They went to great lengths to select the perfect site to grow the grapes that would ultimately become our hand-crafted Mt Vernon wines. The Klapmuts region has a warmer climate and receives a cooling breeze from the south on many hot summer days.

Product Features

• Bright purple rim with lively inviting rim.
• Dark berry, plum and cherry upfront on the nose and mid palate with hints of cinnamon, clove and dark chocolate.
• Subtle yet refined tannins with appreciable oak amplify rich dark fruit and a hint of spice.
• Big mouth flavours carry through into a well-balanced finish, attractive now but with but loads of potential to develop over the next five to seven years.
• Paired perfectly with a red meat dish.
